OUR COLLEGE

Fullerton College is the oldest community college in continuous operation in California (founded April 24, 1913), and is also recognized as one of the finest in the nation. A public college paralleling the lower division of university education, it offers industrial, vocational and general education. Associate in Arts degrees are offered by the Fullerton campus in more than 100 majors. In addition, Fullerton College offers certificate (non-degree) programs in technological and occupational fields. Fullerton College is part of the North Orange County Community College District, a multi-college district that includes Cypress College, which opened its doors in September of 1966. A third site, a 190-acre parcel just east of Yorba Linda, accommodates a Continuing Education Center, site of the administrative offices for the Adult Education Center.

Broadcasting by remote control from Fullerton College is KBPK (90.1 FM), the public radio station for Orange and Southern Los Angeles counties, which is operated by students majoring in Communications. KBPK carries live and delayed broadcasts of Hornet athletic events as does the Fullerton College Television Workshop.

Fullerton College is fully accredited and its academic and vocational programs enjoy a nationwide reputation of excellence.
