W. BEACH VOLLEYBALL: SWEET VICTORY AT LAST
Losing 14 straight matches, the FC beach volleyball team picked up their first win of the season on Friday defeating OEC rival Saddleback College 3-2.
Coming into the match, Saddleback's inaugural team had won their first-ever match over Santa Ana College 3-2.
Playing short-handed all season in a rebuilding year, the Hornets had to win all three of their matches against the Gauchos to pull off the victory... and they did.
Fullerton's One's (Charity Dennis and Rachel Rutherford), Two's (Leslie Andros and Jessica Borough), and Three's (Kristine Perez and Shawnee Longmeyer) all came through big for the Orange Empire Conference win.
