HORNETS GET THE BEST OF ROADRUNNERS
The Hornets put another check mark in the win column on Wednesday after defeating the visiting Rio Hondo College Roadrunners 4-1.
The conditions on the Fullerton College sand courts were near perfect as the sun was shining bright after a heavy hailstorm the night before.
Head Coach Niloofar Mojab along with assistant coach Kristopher Johnson had the team relaxed and focused for the win.
The first four matches all went Fullerton's way taking a sweep in each. The match between the two No. 1 teams proved to be an exciting battle. In the end, Rio Hondo's Lee/Oronzo prevented the team swept with a 2-1 win over FC's Webb/Mokry.
