ONE HOMER IS ALL IT TOOK: Fullerton College hosted Victor Valley College on Tuesday and fell to the Rams 2-1.

FC pitcher Juan Berumen made one mistake in the first inning giving up a two-run homer over the left field wall that ultimately cost the Hornets the game. Berumen went 6 innings allowing only 3 hits while striking out 4 batters.

Fullerton's lone run came in the 8th inning on a hit to left field by LF Uriel Salinas scoring CF Dakota Wix.  Salinas end the day going 3-4 with an RBI.  Catcher Paul Frias went 2-4.  FC had 7 total hits and left 8 men on base. 

Up Next: The Hornets (3-2) hit the road Thursday, February 14th when they take on the Comets of Palomar College.  Game time is at 2:00 pm.
