BASEBALL: SANCHEZ AND ROBINSON SIGN
Pitcher Chris Sanchez and catcher Ben Robinson will continue their education and athletic careers at four-year institutions.
A 6-4 right-handed hurler from Diamond Bar High School, Sanchez chose to sign with East Central University in Oklahoma. In two seasons with the Hornets, Sanchez made 28 appearances, started 12 times, with an overall record of 8-7. His career ERA stands at 3.89 with 60 strikeouts.
Robinson, a 6-1 catcher from Loara High School, elected to sign with Georgetown College in Kentucky. Ben played in 17 games for the Hornets this past season collecting 4 runs and 4 RBI.
