BASEBALL: YOST GOES WITH WESTMONT COLLEGE
Sophomore shortstop Todd Yost made it official as he recently signed with the Warriors of Westmont College.
A local product from Placentia's El Dorado High School, Yost started in 39 games for the Hornets this past season. He batted .246, contributed 17 runs, and was second on the team with 23 RBI. On the defensive end, Yost helped turn 22 double plays, had 63 putouts, along with 116 assists.
"Todd is an extremely talented young man with a bright future. He will fit in well and continue his successes as both an athlete and student", Hornet Head Coach Nick Fuscardo.
