FOOTBALL: SCFA PLAYER OF THE WEEK: GRESCH JENSEN
Sophomore quarterback Gresch Jensen was selected as the week 2 SCFA National Division "Co-Offensive Player of the Week".
The Hornet's Jensen was able to get the No. 2 Hornets past No. 3 Riverside City College on the road throwing for 410 yards, 2 TD passes, and no interceptions. Proving to have an accurate arm, Jensen was 25 of 35 in completions. He also rushed for 42 yards on 9 carries.
Sharing this week's the honor is Southwestern running back Deandre Daniels, who rushed for 222 yards (22 carries) with 4 touchdowns against Palomar College.
Up Next: Fullerton (2-0 overall) will host the 96th Key to the County game against Santa Ana College on Saturday, September 15th. Game time is at 12:00 pm. This is the state's oldest community college football rivalry-game dating back to 1916. Come on out and support your Hornets for this one!
