FOOTBALL SCFA PLAYER OF THE WEEK: XAVION STEELE
Freshman defensive back Xavion Steele was selected as the SCFA National Division "Defensive Player of the Week" for week nine.
Steele was a highlight machine against San Diego Mesa College playing a big part in Fullerton's win over the Olympians last Saturday. He had not one but two interceptions for touchdowns that totaled 135 yards (49 and 86). Steele also had 5 solo tackles and 1 breakup.
