FOOTBALL: SCFA HONORS HORNETS

Even though the Hornets ended their season prematurely, there were many players that were honored last week by the Southern California Football Association.

Sophomore defensive end Joey Noble (Los Alamitos High) was selected as the SCFA's National Central Conference "Defensive Player of the Year". A two-year star for Fullerton, Noble led Southern Califonia in sacks with 12 and also had 51 tackles. In 2017, he was a 1st team All-Conference selection with 10.5 sacks and 39 tackles.

This is the fourth consecutive season where a Hornet has been chosen for this honor (Thomas Cletcher 2015, Justin Parcells 2016, Montre Bonner 2017).
