Bio

Keenan Gardner begins his 6th season amd is now working as the Passing Game Coordinator. The last two seasons Coach Gardner was  run game coordinator working with the running backs. Before that, he was the tight ends and offensive line coach for the Hornet football staff.

Before FC, Coach Gardner worked as the wide receivers coach at Riverside City College under head coach Tom Craft.

A two-time All-San Bernardino County honoree as a junior (wide receiver) and senior (tight end) at Barstow High School, Gardner also was named to the Super Prep magazine First Team All-America team and USA Today Second Team All-America as a tight end.

Gardner accepted a full-ride scholarship to Colorado University (1992-94) as a tight end and then transferred on scholarship to Montana State University (MSU) in 1995 as a wide receiver. He earned a bachelor's degree in business finance at MSU.

Following graduation from Montana State, he was a graduate assistant coach of the wide receivers in 1996. In 2005, he returned to his alma mater, Barstow HS, in 2005 as offensive coordinator. From 2008 to 2015, he was wide receivers coach for Nike Regional Opening.

Gardner and his wife, Lisa, have two sons Byron and Kendall and one daughter, Kaliyah.
