MEN'S BASKETBALL: BAKERSFIELD TOURNEY

The Hornets won two out of three games at the Bakersfield Tournament this past weekend.

In game one on Friday, FC edged out one of the stronger teams in Southern California in Mt. San Jacinto College 63-62. Blake McBride and Julian Richardson both scored a game-high of 21 points a piece. Ian Fox dished out 8 assists and had 8 points

On Saturday, Fullerton lost a tough one to Bakersfield College 72-65. Richardson followed up from the previous game with another game-high of 23 points. Fox had 14 points with 6 assists.

On Sunday, the Hornets held off a tough LA Pierce College team 66-61 to wrap up the tournament. Fox stepped up big scoring a game-high 24 points, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Kenny Barnes put up 16 points and brought down 8 boards. Richardson scored 15 points and added 4 rebounds.  

Up Next: FC (7-3 overall) will play at Compton College in a non-conference game this Thursday, December 3rd. Tip off will be at 6:00 pm.
