The Hornets continued their winning ways on Wednesday night at Santa Ana College rolling the Dons 91-57.
Fullerton now improves to 16-4 overall and 4-0 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Santa Ana loss drops them to 4-14 overall and 0-4 in the OEC.
The game was tied 10-10 in the first six minutes of the game, but FC soon pulled away going on a 10-2 run. By the end of the break, the Hornets had a healthy 42-19 lead.
In the second half, Fullerton outscored the Dons by 11 points at 49-38 while shooting 61% from the field.
On the game, Fullerton shot 50% compared to the Dons who shot 33% from the field. FC also hit the boards hard out-rebounding Santa Ana 47-26.
Jayson Collins lit it up for the Hornets coming off the bench to score a game-high 24 points. He was 8-9 from three-point land and also brought down 6 rebounds. Julian Richardson scored 16 points with 4 rebounds, and Kenny Barnes dropped in 13 points with 8 rebounds. Ian Fox had 9 points with 7 assists. Adam Johnson had 9 points with 4 rebounds, and Isaiah Clark contributed with 8 points with 7 boards. Blake McBride contributed 6 points and 10 rebounds.
