FULLERTON ACES GAME 2 OF THE FC CLASSIC

The No. 2 Hornets cruised to victory in game two of the 36th Annual FC Classic Friday night knocking off West LA College 84-70.

West LA hit its first three shots on a jumper, layup, and three-pointer snagging a 7-2 lead in the first three minutes of the contest. Fullerton quickly erased its deficit two minutes later when a layup by Javon Jones pulled the team past the Wildcats 9-7. FC held a narrow 22-20 lead by the 9-minute mark, and then went on a 23-8 tear finishing off the first half with a strong lead (45-28).

The Hornets kept their distance throughout the second half grabbing the largest lead of the game (22) with just over 3 minutes left to play. Javon Jones' 3-pointer and a couple of free throws by Sammy Howlin put a button on the game for Fullerton.
