In a battle for Orange Empire Conference supremacy, the Hornets lost a hard fought game at home Tuesday against Golden West College 2-1.
The first half ended in a scoreless tie in which the Hornets lost one of their top scorers, Andres Muniz, with a knee injury.
The lone FC goal was scored by Victor Nodal with the assist by Jose Montes De Oca.
GK Jonathan Negrete played well with 9 saves while allowing only 2 goals on the day.
Up Next: The Hornets will continue conference-play at home this Friday, October 4th against Norco College on Sherbeck Field. Game time is a 1:00 pm.
