After knocking off Cypress College last Friday 3-1, the Hornets locked horns with Orange Coast College at home Tuesday and the outcome was a 1-1 tie.
Looking for an upset over the first place Pirates, the Hornets had a 1-0 lead (goal by Jose Montes De Oca / Assist by Manuel Juarez) until the 89th minute when OCC's Jorge Sanchez kicked one in to tie the game before time ran out.
FC Goalie Jonathan Negrete had 7 saves with one goal against in 90 minutes of play.
Up Next: The Hornets (10-6-4, 5-4-4) will travel to Santiago Canyon College this Friday, November 15th. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
