M. SOCCER: 3 OEC TIES IN A ROW

The Hornets added another tie game to their record at Santa Ana College on Tuesday locking up with the Dons 3-3.

It was the third tie in a row for Fullerton, who now sits at 2-3-3 in the Orange Empire Conference, while Santa Ana remains undefeated at 5-0-2.

The first half was a wild-west shootout with goals being exchanged early and often.

FC was the first to score taking a 1-0 advantage in just the fourth minute on Steve Perez's goal that was assisted by Cesar Zamora.

The Dons quickly answered back to tie the game up at one apiece two minutes later. Antonio Wall took the successful shot with the assist coming from Josue Martinez.

Santa Ana struck again ten minutes later to take the lead on a Marcelo Aguirre goal (assist Jose Villa).

FC's Arnold Gomez knocked the ball into the back of the net to tie the game back up in the 17th minute. The assist was by Steve Perez.

At 38:18 SAC's Omar Rodriguez put his team in the lead with an unassisted goal.

Fullerton's final and game-tying goal was had in the 75th minute by Nima Ahmari (unassisted).

With plenty of shots to go around goalie Andres Ramirez had a respectable day with 3 saves.
