MEN’S TENNIS: HORNETS COME OUT WITH THE WIN  

The Men's Tennis team take the win 5-4 over Mt. San Antonio College on Tuesday.

In doubles play, the Hornets won two out of three matches. In the first match Rodrigo Onate and Jose Bernardo Villas Flores won their match with ease (8-2). In the second match Moises Esteves and Ricardo Muratalla were able to secure the win (9-7). 

In singles, the Hornets Moises Esteves won (6-4, 6-0), and Chris Enciso won (7-5, 10-8). The highlight of the match was freshman Matt Ambriz with his first match win of the season. Even though he lost the first set, he battled back to win the second set (7-5) and the third set (10-5). Matt Ambriz effort clinched the win for the Hornets.  

Up Next: The Hornets (1-1 overall) will host Imperial Valley on Friday, February 16 at 2:00 pm. On Saturday, February 17th FC will host a round robin tournament against Bakersfield at 9:00 am and Grossmont at 2:00 pm.
