MEN'S TRACK & FIELD: THE PRELIMS
The men's 4x100m relay team qualified for the Southern California Regional Championships next Saturday by virtue of a personal best performance from Kenneth Griffin, Justin Walker, Taj Wilson, and Marquis Rogers.
The relay ran 42.13 seconds and if they can finish in the top 4 next week, they will qualify for the State Championships at American River College in Sacramento.
Francisco Padilla also qualified to the Regional Championships in the Shot Put throwing 13.55 meters.
Justin Walker moves on as expected in the Long Jump and the 110m High Hurdles. Walker jumped 7.20m and ran 14.53 seconds to easily qualify.
Up Next: The Southern Cal Championships will be at Cerritos College next Saturday, May 13th.
