MEN'S TRACK & FIELD: WALKER WINS AT THE SOCAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Hornet standout Justin Walker won the Long Jump at the Southern California Regional Championships held at Cerritos College on Saturday.

Walker took home the first place medal with a leap of 71.6 meters. In the 110M hurdles, Walker placed second just missing another first place finish. Mt. SAC's Jasher Foster edged him out with a 14.29 finish, (a .35 improvement). Justin will have a chance to win both events when he competes in the State Championships this weekend.

The FC 4x100 Relay team (Jackson Mirth, Marquis Rogers, Justin Walker, and Taj Wilson) just missed a bid to qualify for the State Championships taking 6th place. The team did turn in their best time of the season at 41.78.

Up Next: The Hornets will send Justin Walker to compete at the State Championships at American River College in Sacramento this weekend (May 19-20).
