MEN'S TRACK & FIELD: ORANGE COAST INVITE
In spite of the weather, it was still a good day for some of the Hornets at Orange Coast College last Friday.
Makyi Mcintire placed 4th out of 40 competitors in the 100m dash and 4th out of 37 competitors in the 200m.
Running into a strong headwind, Makyi ran 11.35 and 22.37 respectively. Raymond-Gomez Garcia (Fullerton HS) ran 52.8 in the 400m.
Will Mcteggart (Brea HS) took 4th out of 27 competitors in the Long Jump with a 20 foot 4 inch jump.
Finally, Andrew Fernando (Sunny Hills HS) set a personal best in the 3000m, running 9:30.
Up Next: The Hornets will be at home on Friday, March 23rd for a meet against Santa Ana and Golden West Colleges. The field events start at 11:30 am and track events start at 2:30 pm.
