MEN'S TRACK & FIELD: EL CAMINO INVITE
In a field of over 30 sprinters at the El Camino Invitational last Friday, Xavion Steele continued his rise for the season, taking 3rd place in both the 200 and 400m races. Steele ran 22.77 and 49.68 seconds respectively.
Teammate Conley Hillegas took 6th in the 400m in a time of 51.27. Ian Rusk maintains his consistency, taking 8th in a field of 30 in the 3000m, running 9:06.
In the throwing events, Luis Marquez (Anaheim HS) took 4th in the shot put and 6th in the discus. Marques threw 43'1" and 118'9" respectively. Robert Moreno took third in the hammer throw with a toss of 129'6".
