MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: ALL-CONFERENCE HORNETS

It was quite a season for the start-up Hornets as the team had four players selected to the 2017 All-Orange Empire Conference team last week, including head coach Eddie Rapp who was tabbed as the OEC Coach of the Year.

Manny Andrade, Kyle Young, and Dale Irvin earned first team honors. Andrade played in 21 matches (72 sets) and led Fullerton with 268 kills. He also had 22 aces, 89 digs, 14 solo blocks, and 27 block assists. Young played in 21 matches (70 sets) and had 153 kills with 18 digs, 18 solo blocks, and 27 block assists. Playing in 21 matches (74 sets), Irvin was the team leader in assists with 740. He also had 74 kills, 97 digs, 17 solo blocks, and 9 block assists.

A second team selection, Jordan Von Borstel played in 21 matches (63 sets) for FC accumulating 84 kills, 12 blocks, and 27 block assists.
