MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: FYING HIGH OVER JETS

The Hornets welcomed San Diego Miramar to the South Gym on Friday and swept the jets 3-1 in a non-conference match.

In game one, FC took a 6-2 lead, but the Jets made their run tying it up at 10 a piece. FC went on a 5-0 run to go up 15-10, and went on to seal the game at 25-18.

The Hornets and Jets matched the second game with Fullerton coming out on top by the same score of 25-18.

Miramar struck back in the third game edging past for the a 27-25 win.

The third game was a back-and-forth slugfest as the Jets had no quit in them, but FC pulled off a 25-23 win to seal the match.

Shawn Stolt had his best outing of the season with a team-high 13 kills and 3 solo blocks. Garrett Geiger followed with 12 kills and 4 digs. Kyle Young had 8 kills and Brian Marquez delivered 32 assists. 

Up Next: Fullerton (4-3 overall) will play at San Diego City College on Wednesday, February 28th for another non-conference match. Game time is at 6:00 pm.
