In a non-conference match on Wednesday, Fullerton College snagged their third consecutive victory at San Diego Mesa 3-0.
In set one, FC And San Diego Mesa went back and forth until the end. The Hornets won the set 27-25 with 7 kills, 2 errors, and 15 total attacks.
In set two, the Hornets stepped up their defense for a 25-14 win with 5 kills, 3 errors, and 15 total attacks.
In the third and final set, Fullerton brought it all to an end for the Olympians winning 25-20. FC had 13 kills, 4 errors, and 24 total attacks.
Garrett Geiger led the Hornets victory by contributing 9 kills, while Jacob Van Der Beek followed with 6 kills and 2 digs. Brian Marquez helped the team with 20 assists.
Up Next: The Hornets (5-3 overall) will be hosting Palomar College this Friday, March 2nd at 6:00 pm. On Wednesday, March 7th Fullerton will host Long Beach College at 6:00 pm.
