MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: FC OUT-PLAYS GOLDEN WEST

On Friday, the Hornets won a big conference game at Golden West College sweeping the Rustlers 3-0.

In game one, Fullerton made their presence known by achieving 32 total attacks and earning 15 kills. Golden West tried to answer the Hornets attack with several rallies, but the Hornets were able to withstand the Rustler offensive push and pulled off a 25-18 win.

In game two, FC changed the game strategy and waited for Golden West to make a mistake. The Hornets had 13 kills and 28 total attacks to win 25-19.

In game three, Fullerton changed the tempo and spread the ball all over the court. This allowed Fullerton to get 16 kills and 36 total attacks winning 25-16.

Alex Serrano had 8 kills and 11 digs while  Kevin Poku brought down 12 kills, 2 digs, and 2 block assist. Kyle Young had 13 kills with 4 block assists, and Garrett Geiger contributed 6 kills, 5 digs, and 3 block assists.

Up Next: FC (8-4 overall, 2-0 OEC) will host last season's state champion Orange Coast College on Wednesday, March 21st at 6:00 pm.
