MEN’S VOLLEYBALL: 5 HORNETS MAKE ALL-OEC
Fullerton is proud to announce that 5 Hornets have been selected to the All-Orange Empire Conference Team.
Freshman middle blocker and outside hitter Kevin Poku along with sophomore outside hitter Alex Serrano, and sophomore middle blocker Kyle Young were selected 1st team All-OEC. Teammate Garrett Geiger, a freshman outside hitter, along with freshman setter Brain Marquez were selected 2nd team ALL-OEC.
Outside hitter Kevin Poku ended the season averaging a .217 hitting percentage, and earning 1.86 kills per set, and totaling 93 kills.
Teammate Alex Serrano averaged a .187 hitting percentage overall, along with 1.60 kills per set, and 101 kills against opponents.
Middle blocker Kyle Young averaged a .339 hitting percentage, 2.04 kills per set, and racked up 27 block assist this season.
Setter Brian Marquez averaged 8.62 assists per set, 1.09 digs per set and ended the season with 32 block total.
Garrett Geiger averaged .238 hit percentage, 2.44 kills per set, and 0.84 digs per set.
