MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: ALL-ORANGE EMPIRE CONFERENCE
A pair of Hornet outside hitters were All-Orange Empire Conference selections in Garrett Geiger and Asontae Lewis-Owens.
Garrett Geiger (Esperanza High/Anaheim, CA) made the All-OEC team for the second year in a row. Last season he was a 2nd team selection, but his sophomore campaign garnered a 1st team spot knocking down 208 kills (2nd in conference). He also added 81 digs and 17 aces. Garrett's career kills is the most in the Hornet program's history at 379.
Asontae Lewis-Owens (Roosevelt High/Eastvale, CA) earned second team All-OEC honors with 201 kills, 84 digs, and led the team with 9 solo blocks (27 overall). The Hornet coaching staff is excited to have this talented athlete back next year.
