MAZUCO, WONG-HIN, & PEREZ EARN ALL-OEC HONORS

After a long wait, the All-Orange Empire Conference team was announced this week with three Hornets earning the honors.

A sophomore from Don Lugo High, Leonardo Mazuco was a 1st Team All-OEC selection. He ended the 2022 season tied for second in the conference with 203 total kills and was fourth in kills per set at 3.17. In 18 total matches this season Mazuco had 122 digs, 18 assists, and 45 blocks.

Sophomore Hunter Wong-Hin (Terra Nova High/Pacifica, CA) earned 2nd Team All-OEC honors with 203 kills (2nd in conference). In 19 matches played, Hunter had 137 digs with 16 aces.

A sophomore out of Savanna High, David Perez got the nod for 2nd Team All-OEC. in 19 matches, Perez had a team-high 186 digs while adding 13 aces.
