MEN'S WATER POLO: CITRUS TOURNEY CHAMPS!

The FC men's water polo team held strong over the weekend winning all four of their matches winning the Citrus College Tournament.

The Hornets opened up on Friday with a tough opponent in Santa Monica College and beat the Corsairs in a close one 14-12.  Later on that day Fullerton brought down Chaffey College 11-7.

On Saturday, FC doubled up on San Diego Mesa 8-4.  In the title game, the Hornets scored big beating OEC rival Santa Ana College 17-9 to win it all.

In the title game FC's Trevor Birkbeck, Zakk Parker, and Joe Feaster each scored 4 goals.  Paul Wirth tossed in 2 while Drew Eastman, Philip Walswick, and Thomas Brugger each scored a goal.  GK Sam Feaster 15 saves.

Up Next: The Hornets (5-0) hit the road this Wednesday, September 18th at Orange Coast College to open up conference-play.  Game time is at 4:00 pm.
