The Hornets played in the South of the Boarder Tournament at San Diego Mesa College on Friday and Saturday winning two games and losing two.
On Friday, Fullerton beat Mesa 20-11 and then lost to Cerritos 16-11. FC's Wade Shipman led the team in scoring with 11 goals on the day. Kyle Kough followed up with 8 goals and Christopher Frias had 5.
On Saturday, the Hornets Southwestern 22-11 and then fell to El Camino 15-11. Shipman had another good day tossing in 12 goals to lead the Hornets. Kough pitched in with 8 goals and Brandon Kepley scored 7.
Up Next: FC (10-5 overall, 0-1 OEC) will play Orange Coast College in the Hornet's pool on Wednesday, September 27th. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
