MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: GWC INVITE
The Hornet men competed at the Golden West Invitational located last Friday and had some big improvements placing 8th out of 17 teams (235 team points).
Sophomore, Brian Grande, placed eighth overall with a time of 22:38. Hayden Ritchie is holding down the second place runner for the team as Andrew Fernando trailed 10 seconds behind him for our third man. Fourth man runner Ryan Sheatz crossed the line 40 seconds after Andrew and that closeness made up the success for team placing. William Rodriguez crossed the line for our fifth runner this week. Erick Hernandez was 12 seconds behind him and a distance behind were teammates Ian Sanders and Matthew Worrall finishing up for the Hornets.
Up Next: The team continues to train hard and will welcome the bye week next week.
