MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: THE BRUBAKER INVITE

Irvine Regional Park was the place for the Brubaker Invitational that was held last Friday with Hornets placing 6th out of ten teams with 175 points.

The course was familiar to most as they have run on it from their high school experiences.

The men supported Breast Cancer Awareness month wearing "pink" socks to support the cause.

Brian Grande still held his first-man spot came in 13th overall out of 108 runners. Hayden Ritchie still claimed the second-man spot for the Hornets only 43 seconds behind Brian.

Andrew Fernando closed this week on Hayden with a 45 second gap. Ryan Sheatz and Williams Rodriguez had three seconds in between them as they crossed for our fourth and fifth man.

Erick Hernandez, Ian Sanders, and Matthew Worrall respectively crossed the line to finish out the teams effort for this week running closely together.

Up Next: The Hornets will compete at the Mt. San Antonio Invite on Friday, October 13th.  Race time is at 10:00 am.
