MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: GOLDEN WEST INVITE

Fullerton represented well at the Golden West Central Park Classic this past weekend.

The men had a good start and the order changed a little with the Andrew Fernando finishing as first runner for the team in 29th place.  Mauro Rosales was next 25 places later.  Ian Rusk was 23 seconds from Mauro at the finish line.  Ryan Sheatz was our fourth man and William Gerard finished with seven seconds of Ryan.

Matthew Worrall and Eugene Cooper ran with 11 seconds of each other and Erick Hernandez only nine places behind them. Shizhe (Shane) Fan ran his first race of his season finishing up the lineup for the Hornets.

"Our gapping was better this meet with our top five now we need to bridge that gap in the middle. We're just taking it one race at a time and the men are figuring out their strategy", Hornet Head Coach Gina Bevec.
