MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Orange Empire Conference Championships took place at the Riverside City Course last Friday with the FC men finishing in fifth place overall with 109 points.

Ian Rusk finished 10th place out of 73 runners with an impressive effort of 22:25.  He claimed the top spot for the second week in a row.

Mauro Rosales (22:39) ran 14 seconds behind Rusk as the number two man.

Andrew Fernando finished as the third Hornet with a time of 23:27.

Ryan Sheatz (24:33) was a minute and six seconds behind Fernando, and six seconds later William Gerard (24:39) crossed the line.

Sean Wing came in just four seconds after Gerard, while Matthew Worrall was the seventh man with a time of 25:01.

Eugene Cooper, Shane Fan, and Erick Hernandez made up the rest of the team accomplishing good efforts with their performances.

Up Next: The Hornet's top-five team finish qualifies them for the Southern California Regionals that will take place at Don Knabe Park in Cerritos on Friday, November 2nd. Race time is at 11:00 am.
