There were 192 runners standing on the line ready to compete last Friday at the Southern California Regionals as two Hornets qualified for the State Championships.

Mauro Rosales finished in 55th place with his best time of 20:59. Teammate Ian Rusk finished 13 seconds after him in 70th place with his best time of 21:12.

As a team, Fullerton finished in 25th place out of 28 teams, however times dropped individually from our runners and gapping was improved amongst these men.

Andrew Fernando finished in his usual third man spot with a time of 22:25 and impressively William Gerard crossed the line 23 seconds later for our fourth man in 22:48.

Sean wing finished out the top five runners three seconds later in 22:51.

Sixth man, Ryan Sheatz finished at 23:14 and Matthew Worrall cleaned up as the seventh man at 23:33.

"These men have an incredible strength amongst themselves and work hard together. Their times improved at the right time of the season and they can be proud of that achievement", Hornet Head Coach Gina Bevec.
