SOFTBALL: ON A ROLL

SOFTBALL: ON A ROLL

Since the beginning of April, the Hornets have put together a four-game win streak moving them up in the Southern California rankings to #10.

The end of March was not very good to Fullerton as they lost three straight games to Orange Coast (2-1), Bakersfield (2-0), and Citrus (2-1). After falling at district-rival Cypress College 9-1 on April 4th, FC began to fight back beating ranked teams in Riverside (11-7), Pasadena City (1-0), Ventura (7-1), and East LA (4-2).

"The team is in a great position right now to finish strong. They are gelling well together and holding each other accountable on and off the field", Hornet Co-Head Coach Marion "Speedy" Mendoza.

The four wins have helped the Hornets stay in the fight for a playoff spot with a little less than a month left in the regular season. At 17-15 overall and 7-8 in conferences, Fullerton will be looking to add more wins to their recent surge.

Up Next: The Hornets will play at home against Golden West College for an Orange Empire Conference game on Wednesday, April 11th at 3:00 pm.
