The Lady Hornets got their season underway at the Grossmont College Crossover over the weekend splitting both games.
On Friday, FC earned their first win knocking off the Griffins 79-46. Tatianna Zazuetta led the charge scoring 17 points with 6 assists and 6 steals. Angela Zendejas came off the bench scoring 17 points as well. She added 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Katie Salas put up 15 points and Moriah Serrano scored 13 points, dished out 5 assists, and had 6 steals in a winning effort.
On Saturday, Fullerton lost a close one to a tough East Los Angeles squad 63-62.
Up Next: FC (1-1 overall) will play at El Camino College on Friday, November 8th for a non-conference game. Tipoff is at 5:00 pm.
