WOMEN'S GOLF: OEC FINALS EQUALS ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS
The Hornets placed third overall in the Orange Empire Conference Tournament held at Los Serranos on Monday and Wednesday.
Fullerton's Kaylee Jeon finished in third overall shooting 162 (82 / 80) during the two-day 36 hole competition. Saddleback's Brittney Do captured the conference MVP honors with a score of 157 (77 / 80).
Do helped Saddleback win its second consecutive OEC title with a 2-day team score of 679. Irvine Valley placed second at the championship with a team score of 696, while Fullerton edged Mt. San Antonio for third (741-743).
Gwen Bates helped the Hornets out-pace Mt. SAC shooting 183 (92 / 90). Rounding the rest for FC were Alex Rooney who finished with 188 (97 / 91) and Lili Manurung 208 (106 / 102).
