The Hornets opened conference-play at home last Friday against Golden West College and picked up a convincing 3-1 win.
The game was scoreless through the first half as both teams jockeyed for position. The second half told a different story with Fullerton taking control.
The first goal came in the 59th minute on a shot by FC's Sindy Villa with the assist by Brooke Morris.
The Hornets went up 2-0 on Golden West in the 68th minute when combo of Villa and Morris struck again.
The Rustlers hit on a goal in the 74th minute, but Fullerton sealed the game on an unassisted shot by Morris.
FC goalie Savannah Dyer had 2 saves with a goal against in 90 minutes of play.
Up Next: FC (4-1 overall, 1-0) will play again on Tuesday, September 19th at Irvine Valley College. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
