WOMEN' SOCCER: GOAL-FEST

In an Orange Empire Conference game on Friday afternoon, the Hornet offense exploded with a 7-2 win at Irvine Valley College.

The win gives Fullerton its second straight Orange Empire Conference victory with an overall record of 11-1, while the IVC loss bumps them to 0-1-1 on the OEC with an overall record of 4-3-5.

FC put up the first goal of the game very quickly (5:51) on a shot by Morgan Dack. The assist was by Ashley Slouka.

Slouka scored a goal of her own nearly ten minutes later with the assist coming from Skyler Van Voorhis.

Kaelah Basurto made it 3-0 in the 31st minute and Regina Sanchez-Molina was credited with the assist.

Sanchez-Molina got in on the action after Jacqueline Ramirez fed her the ball for a score in the 42nd minute.

Slouka struck again nearly two minutes later with an unassisted goal. Fullerton held a 5-0 lead by halftime.

Jacqueline Ramirez opened up the second half with an unassisted goal at 46:52. 

With a solid 6-0 lead, the Lasers snuck in two goals by Cierra Savin and Natalie Tucker (54th minute and 55th).

Slouka locked down the hat-trick knocking her third goal on the day, on an assist by Edith Zuniga in the 60th minute.

The last time Fullerton scored 7 goals in a game was in 2015, a 7-0 win over... Irvine Valley.
