SWIM & DIVE: 2016 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Hornets represented well at the 2016 State Championships at Pasadena City College over the weekend.
Gabriella Garcia finished 15th in the women's 100 Freestyle with a time of 55.68.
In the 400 Freestyle Relay, the team of Alicia Tully, Summer Sota, Erika McFeggan, and Gabi Garcia placed 14th overall with a time of 3:47.91.
The Orange Coast College team wound up taking the title on the women's side winning its 18th state team title and first since 2012.

Sierra College made history capturing their first-ever men's state championship scoring 543.50 points to unseat 3-time defending state champ Golden West (runner-up with 508).
