TENNIS: SOPHOMORE DAY & POST SEASON

As the regular season for tennis comes to an end, Fullerton Athletics would like to thank the following sophomores, Lael Cardinal, Mayumi Okubo, Jose Bernardo Villas Flores, Chris Enciso, and Moises Esteves for playing at Fullerton College. 

Lael Cadinal: A Native of La Mirada, CA, Cardinal has been one of the leaders in the tennis team. She has also been an important player for the Hornets. With her effort Fullerton defeated district rival Cypress. 

Mayumi Okubo: A resident of Anaheim, CA, Okubo has been able to play well in singles and doubles. In the short time as a Hornet, Okubo has won matches against the Gauchos and Chargers to name a few. 

Jose Bernardo Villas Flores: Coming to Fullerton College from Mexico, Flores has been a leader for the Hornets this season. He has played in all of the matches and has won several singles matches against respected opponents. 

Chris Enciso: A local resident from Anaheim, CA. During his time as a Hornet, Chris has helped strengthen the team. Both his offense and defensive skills have helped the Hornets. 

Moises Esteves: A native of Valencia, Venezuela, and Esteves has been a great fit for the Hornets because he has succeeded in singles and doubles. 

As they transition to the post season, all of these individuals have another opportunity to represent Fullerton College as they get ready for the Orange Empire Conference Individual Tournament.

Up Next: The Hornets will compete in the Orange Empire Conference Individual Tournament on April 12-15.
