WOMEN'S TENNIS: DECIDING WIN
The FC women's tennis team began 2019 on the right foot winning 8-1 on the road against Ventura College Friday.
In doubles, Fullerton swept the competition in three straight. Yu Seung Suh / Alexus Lombera won 8-0, Ashley Castro / Kim La won 8-4, and Janet Shiau / Savanna Schreiner-Vanhoutte won 8-1.
Yu-Sheng Suh won the first singles match 6-1, 6-0, Alexus Lombrera followed with a 6-3, 6-3 win, and Kim La took her match 6-2, 6-1. Janet Shiau won 6-0, 6-1, and Shiam Savanna Schreiner-Vanhoutte clinched it for Fullerton 6-2, 6-0.
Up Next: The Hornets will host Rio Hondo College in another non-conference match on Tuesday, February 5th at 2:00 pm.
