WOMEN’S TENNIS: GETTING’ THE GAUCHOS
The Lady Hornets took care of Saddleback College 6-3 on the road Thursday in an Orange Empire Conference match.
The win competes the season sweep of Saddleback and bumps Fullerton to 10-4 overall and 4-3 in the OEC.
FC swept the competition in doubles with wins coming from Yu Seung Suh/Alexus Lombera (8-1), Ashley Castro/Savanna Scheiner-Vabhoutte (8-4), and Janet Shiau/Alli Van (8-0).
No. 1 Yu Seung Suh won her match 6-1, 6-1 as did Savanna Scheiner-Vanhoutte 6-3, 6-3, 6-2. Allie Van sealed the match for the Hornets beating her opponent 6-2, 6-0.
Up Next: FC (10-4 overall, 4-3 OEC) will play at Orange Coast College this Tuesday, March 19th. Game time is at 2:00 pm.
