WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD: GEARING UP
The Lady Hornets competed at the Cerritos Invitational last Friday for a tune up meet.
Jordyn Reese sharpened up her 100 meter time of 12.87 and currently is ranked sixth in the OEC.
Shyleen Ramos was trying to add to her other qualifying events and came out with a personal record (PR) in the 200 meters of 28.91, but she fell short of the qualification mark. She will compete in the long jump and both relays for the conference championships.
Liz Pean and Daniela Juarez were trying to improve their 100 meter times, however they fell short with no personal records this time around.
Up Next: The Orange Empire Conference Championships will take place at Riverside City College on April 21st.
