The FC women's volleyball team broke a three-game losing streak on at home Friday night beating Riverside City College three games to one.
The Hornets came out on top in game's one and two winning 25-23 and 25-17. After dropping game three 16-25, Fullerton picked themselves up and wrapped up the match with a 25-14 win in game four.
The win bumps Fullerton up to 6th place in the Orange Empire Conference with a record of 2-5, while the Tiger loss lands them in 7th place with a record of 1-7.
Kaylyn Johnson and Lauren Schaefer teamed up hammering down 11 kills each. Schaffer added 2 digs and 2 block assists. Rebecca Hicks added 8 kills and Kaylyn Case had 28 assist to go along with 4 kills and 3 block assists.
Up Next: Fullerton (5-8 overall, 2-5 OEC) will play at home today against Santiago Canyon College at 6:00 pm.
