WOMEN'S WATER POLO: 35-0 UNDISPUTED STATE CHAMPS!!!

For the sixth time this season, the Hornets had to go through a tough Riverside City College squad to win the CCCAA State Championship 8-7 in overtime!

This year's tournament was played at Sacramento's American River College with two teams representing the North (#1North Diablo Valley and #2North Foothill) and two from the South (#1South Fullerton and #2South Riverside).

In game one on Friday, FC ended Foothill College's season beating the Owls 13-5.

Then on Saturday, the Hornets had to face their Orange Empire Conference foe in Riverside City College. The game was heavy in defense as it ended in a 6-6 tie before having to play in overtime. FC proved resilient keeping their unbeaten streak intact with an 8-7 victory.

It is the first time since the program began in 1996 that Fullerton College has won a state championship.
