The FC women's water polo squad played at Cypress College on Wednesday and cruised past the Chargers 19-2.
The FC victory helps the Hornets to an overall record of 15-6 and a conference record of 3-2. The Cypress defeat sends them to 5-15 overall and 1-5 in the Orange Empire Conference. Fullerton is currently tied with Orange Coast in third place in the OEC, while Golden West and Riverside lead the pack in first with 5-0 records.
Gabbi Perez was the goal leader for the Hornets with 11. She also contributed 5 assists and 4 steals. Marissa Vaccher had 5 goals with 4 assists and 2 steals, while Bianca Vera put in 2 goals, had 3 assist, and 5 steals. Veronica Ramirez scored a goal and had 3 assists and 6 steals.
Fullerton GK Maddi Garcia allowed only 2 goals and had 12 saves.
