Fullerton opened up their season over the weekend at the Saddleback College Tournament winning three out of four games.
The Hornets played two games on Friday and won both against San Diego Mesa 14-8 and Palomar 15-3. Cynthia Lujan and Bianca Vera teamed up scoring 11 goals a piece on the day. Veronica Ramirez added 4 goals.
On Saturday, FC dropped one to a strong Sierra College squad 9-6 and then went on to defeat Grossmont 17-5 in the final game of the tournament. In the two games played, Ramirez scored 7 goals and Lujan tossed in 7 of her own.
Up Next: The Hornets (3-1 overall) will host Saddleback College this Thursday, September 13th. Game time is at 4:00 pm.
