WOMEN'S WATER POLO: STRONG CONFERENCE VICTORY

The Hornets showed their dominance at Golden West College on Wednesday beating the Rustlers 17-10 in an Orange Empire Conference showdown.

Fullerton's win keeps them in the hunt for another conference title. They are only one game back from Riverside City (2-0), who currently sits in first place in the OEC. The Golden West loss was their first in conference and their fifth overall.

The second quarter had much more scoring action with both teams matching each other with 4 goals apiece. FC held on to a 6-5 lead at the half.

The Hornets went up big in the third quarter scoring 7 goals to Golden West's 2. Freshman Abigail Nunez scored 3 of her 6 goals in that time.

Fullerton had the game under their control heading into the fourth quarter with a 14-7 lead. FC went on to score 4 more goals to GWC's 3.
